Position Overview:

The Lead SailPoint Engineer will serve as a technical lead responsible for the design, development, and support of enterprise identity governance and administration solutions using SailPoint IdentityIQ. This role requires deep hands on expertise with SailPoint implementations, integrations, and custom development, as well as strong leadership and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions in an enterprise environment.
  • Develop and support SailPoint workflows, connectors, roles, certifications, and rules.
  • Design and implement advanced workflows, complex end user forms, and customized integrations using APIs and JDBC.
  • Provide technical leadership on SailPoint object model usage and code architecture best practices.
  • Develop and maintain custom SailPoint integrations using Java, BeanShell, and IdentityIQ APIs.
  • Support integrations with enterprise directories including LDAP and Active Directory.
  • Design, develop, and execute technical design documents and test cases.
  • Support SailPoint deployments across application servers including WebLogic, WebSphere, Tomcat, and Apache.
  • Manage SSL certificate creation, deployment, and renewal for identity platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable identity governance solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to SailPoint IdentityIQ.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on SailPoint best practices and standards.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Hands on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ version 8.2 or higher in enterprise environments.
  • Strong experience with Java and BeanShell programming and SailPoint IdentityIQ APIs.
  • Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and MySQL.
  • Experience integrating SailPoint with directory services including LDAP and Active Directory.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of SailPoint workflows, connector development, roles, certifications, and rule development.
  • Experience developing advanced workflows, complex forms, and custom API based and JDBC integrations.
  • Solid understanding of SailPoint IdentityIQ object model and architecture.
  • Experience creating technical design documentation and test case development.
  • Experience working with application servers such as WebLogic, WebSphere, Tomcat, and Apache.
  • Knowledge of SSL certificate management including creation, deployment, and renewal.
  • Strong understanding of secure identity governance and access management practices.
  • Proven ability to apply sound code architecture principles within SailPoint IdentityIQ.
