Job Description: 

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Solution Architect to lead the business focused architecture for a large scale SAP S/4HANA transformation. This role is responsible for connecting enterprise business strategy, end to end value streams, and SAP S/4HANA target architecture into executable migration and implementation plans.

The ideal candidate brings strong executive communication skills, a deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA business processes, and the ability to translate business architecture into clear technical direction across process design, data migration, system integration, and platform strategy. The emphasis is on S/4HANA target state architecture, migration execution planning, and design principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Enterprise and Business Architecture:

  • Own the end to end enterprise architecture view for the SAP S/4HANA transformation
  • Understand and model enterprise value streams including order to cash, supply chain, enterprise asset management lifecycle, and financial integration
  • Ensure alignment between business strategy, operating model, and SAP S/4HANA target architecture
  • Provide a horizontal, cross functional perspective across processes, systems, and data domains SAP S/4HANA Strategy and Design
  • Define SAP S/4HANA target architecture and key design principles
  • Translate business architecture into technical requirements covering integration, data migration, and infrastructure needs
  • Guide decisions around system decomposition, integration patterns, and data movement across the enterprise
  • Ensure clean core principles and future ready architecture without a focus on ECC remediation Migration and Transformation Execution
  • Convert SAP S/4HANA migration strategy into actionable plans that delivery teams can execute
  • Provide architectural oversight across end to end process migration, data migration, and system integration
  • Partner with delivery, technical, and platform teams to ensure architectural integrity throughout implementation
  • Support planning for full system migration rather than isolated functional moves Integration, Data, and Platform Architecture
  • Define integration architecture across SAP and non SAP systems
  • Guide data migration strategy, including scope, sequencing, and dependencies
  • Align infrastructure and platform decisions to support SAP S 4HANA and future scalability
  • Leverage SAP Business Technology Platform for integration, extension, and security patterns Governance, Communication, and Stakeholder Engagement
  • Lead and facilitate architecture and process workshops with directors, vice presidents, and senior stakeholders
  • Act as a trusted advisor translating complex architecture topics into clear business outcomes
  • Communicate architecture decisions, tradeoffs, and impacts at an executive level
  • Partner closely with business leaders to ensure adoption and alignment Process Modeling and Tooling
  • Use SAP Signavio to map, analyze, and optimize end to end business processes
  • Ensure process models support future state SAP S/4HANA capabilities
  • Maintain traceability between business processes, architecture decisions, and execution plans 

    Required Experience and Skills:
  • Extensive experience as an SAP Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect with SAP S/4HANA
  • Strong understanding of SAP S /4HANA business processes and end to end value streams
  • Proven experience supporting SAP S/4HANA migrations or implementations
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture and execution plans
  • Experience with system integration, data migration strategy, and enterprise architecture
  • Familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform and enterprise single sign on concepts
  • Experience using SAP Signavio or similar process modeling tools
  • Strong executive level communication and workshop facilitation skills Preferred Qualifications
  • Background working on large scale enterprise SAP transformations
  • Experience working closely with business leadership rather than only technical teams
  • Enterprise architecture or solution architecture certifications
  • Experience defining architecture governance and design principles for ERP transformations
