Job Description:
We are looking for hands-on Data Center Technicians to support a short-term deployment project at the Data Center in Manassas, VA. This role involves physical setup, assembly, and installation of data center racks and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and build MGX racks with network rack extensions
- Physically move and position racks within the data center
- Install and mount Swiftstack hardware and related equipment
- Assist with rack and stack activities
- Ensure proper alignment, placement, and securing of equipment
- Follow data center safety and operational protocols
- Work collaboratively with the onsite team to complete installations on time
Required Skills & Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in a data center or similar technical environment
- Hands-on experience with:
- Rack & stack
- Basic hardware installation
- Ability to handle physical tasks (lifting, moving equipment, standing for extended periods)
- Basic understanding of data center environments and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
