Role Overview

  • We are seeking a Network Engineering Lead to provide senior-level technical leadership and hands-on engineering expertise supporting a large enterprise network environment.
  • This role will drive engineering initiatives across campus, data center, WAN, wireless, and security-integrated networking infrastructure while supporting modernization, automation, and operational reliability programs.
  • The Network Engineering Lead will partner closely with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to implement scalable solutions and enhance network performance, resiliency, and visibility across the organization.
  • This is a hands-on engineering leadership role requiring deep technical expertise and the ability to guide complex initiatives while mentoring engineers.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Serve as a technical lead for enterprise network engineering initiatives
• Lead complex troubleshooting across routing, switching, wireless, and security-integrated networks
• Provide architectural guidance and design recommendations for new network deployments
• Mentor network engineers and support operational teams

Enterprise Network Engineering

Design, implement, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure including:

• Cisco Catalyst switching and routing platforms
• Arista Layer 2 / Layer 3 switching environments
• Enterprise wireless infrastructure (Cisco Catalyst Wireless)
• WAN connectivity and SD-WAN solutions
• Data center networking including VXLAN / EVPN architectures
• Global DNS, DHCP, and IPAM services (Infoblox)

Security & Network Integration

Work closely with security teams to support enterprise security architectures including:

• Identity-based network access control
• Network segmentation and micro-segmentation
• Integration with firewall and proxy infrastructure

Technologies may include:

• Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
• Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA)
• Zscaler Private Access (ZPA)
• Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama
• Cisco Firepower / FMC
• Gigamon network visibility platforms

Network Observability & Operations

Enhance network reliability and visibility through advanced monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

Tools may include:

• Netscout packet monitoring
• Darktrace network detection
• Splunk observability
• NetBrain network automation and troubleshooting
• Cisco Catalyst Center (DNAC)

Automation & Infrastructure Modernization

Support initiatives focused on improving operational efficiency through automation.

Areas include:

• API-driven network automation
• Infrastructure programmability

• Integration with automation platforms such as:

• Cisco Catalyst Center
• Arista CloudVision
• Nautobot

Network Capacity & Reliability

• Support enterprise network capacity planning initiatives
• Improve network health visibility and performance monitoring
• Identify risks related to network scalability and availability

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise network engineering experience
• Deep expertise in routing, switching, and enterprise network design

• Hands-on experience with:

• Cisco Catalyst switching and routing
• Arista switching platforms

• BGP, OSPF, and enterprise routing protocols
• Layer 2 / Layer 3 network architectures
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise network environments

Preferred Experience

Experience with the following technologies is highly desirable:

• Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
• Cisco Catalyst Center (DNAC)
• Infoblox DNS / DHCP / IPAM
• VXLAN/EVPN data center networking
• Zscaler ZIA / ZPA
• Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama
• Network telemetry and packet analysis platforms
• Network automation and scripting

• Drive engineering best practices and documentation standards
